Wednesday 20th April was a special ‘Singing Day’ for Ellingham’s Year 2 classes. They were joined by the Year 1 members of the Key Stage One choir to learn some songs and warm-up vocal activities.
The two sessions were organised as part of Kingston Music Service’s Infant Music Festival and were delivered by Ms Emily Murphy with Ms Krystal Tunnicliffe providing piano accompaniment.
The children concentrated hard, sang beautifully and proved to be very quick at learning the songs.
Our thanks go to the parents who came to listen to the short performance at the end of the day.
The Key Stage One choir will go on to sing these songs (and a few others) at the Festival concert at the Rose Theatre on Monday June 13th. If they sound this good now, we can’t wait for the Infant Music Festival!
