Breakfast & Afterschool Club Supervisor

Temporary contract until the end of the summer term. (Term time only 38 weeks)

Monday to Friday 2.15pm-6.05pm (19 hours and 10 mins) – Additional morning shifts from 7.15 – 9am may be available.

Ellingham School is a happy 2 form entry primary school (2 to 11 year olds), situated in the heart of Chessington. We pride ourselves on our friendly and supportive school community with fantastic pupils and highly motivated staff. The school is a vibrant, culturally and socially diverse community.

We are looking for a Supervisor for our breakfast and after-school club known as Ellingham Explorers, which is well utilised by parents and carers at the school.

You should hold an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent, be reliable and punctual and have experience of working with primary age children, an awareness of good childcare practice, initiative and an ability to supervise a small team.

The club operates from 7:15 to 8:45 and 15:05 to 18:00 Monday to Friday You will supervise the team during afternoon sessions to provide a ‘home from home’ environment for children organising a range of activities and assisting with meal time routines. You will also be required to support the Explorer Manager in running the provision with planning activities, managing food orders and administration.

Senior School Meals Supervisor

We are seeking to appoint a Senior Schools Meals Supervisor to oversee lunchtimes with a team of Meals Supervisors. You will ensure that the hall is set up, is inviting and kept clean and tidy during the lunch period. You will ensure all children are supervised while having a school lunch or packed lunch and helped where necessary particularly the younger children or those with special needs. You will ensure the team promote healthy eating habits, good manners and behaviour and that the children enjoy their lunch break ready to return to class to continue learning.

Monday to Friday 11.30-1.30  Term time only 38 weeks.
