Useful website

The Childnet website is a really useful site with clear information and practical tips for parents on how to keep you children safe online. Once you enter the main page, there are sections with ideas on how best to talk to your child about e-safety and on ‘hot topics’ such as cyberbullying, gaming and apps.
Top tips from the website include:
-
Talk to your child about what they’re up to online.
-
Set boundaries in the online world just as you would in the real world.
-
Use parental controls on devices that link to the internet, such as the TV, laptops, computers, games consoles and mobile phones.
