Social, Moral, Spritual and Cultural Values
At Ellingham we aim to develop the ‘whole’ child. We understand that, in order to learn effectively, care needs to be taken to ensure that each child develops spiritually, morally, socially and culturally.
Our curriculum, extra-curricula activities, and indeed all elements of the school day are designed to provide a range of experiences that give the opportunity for children to develop their own values and beliefs, spiritual awareness, excellent standards of behaviour, a sense of responsibility and care towards others, and an appreciation of the part they play in a diverse and culturally rich society.
Our school council representative take a lead in deciding how to spend amounts of money, and reminding others of the need to respect the school premises and avoid waste.
